A romantic dinner in Paris, a walk along the River Seine, and sparkling display of lights on the Eiffel Tower after Alex said yes! I’m not sure how much more romantic you can get? Except Jace’s last name is Valentine! I was so excited to take Alex and Jace’s engagement photos AND it was just after Valentine’s Day! Last year I took photos of Alex’s sister Hilary and her fiance (now husband) Chris so I was so excited I would get a chance to work with their family again!

We’ve had unusually cold weather here in Arizona and as we travelled closer to Bartlett Lake, the temperature started to dip! You wouldn’t know looking at the photos how cold it was down by the water but Jace being the romantic he is was able to keep Alex warm in between shots. Just as we were getting ready to leave, Alex and Jace hopped up on a rock near the parking lot and we captured some stunning sunset portraits right before the sun set!
