Horses and horsepower! Danielle and Joe’s Dallas engagement shoot had both! I have been so excited to share this session because I’ve known Danielle forever! We both grew up riding horses at the same barn and we have spent wayyy too many hours in the saddle together.

Life landed us many states away from our barn in Ohio, but we’ve kept in touch. I was SOO excited when she and Joe asked me to photograph their big day! And wait until you hear how he proposed…. lets just say Joe really knows how important horses are to Danielle 🙂 While Danielle was horse showing, Joe rode in on his noble steed Marshmallow and proposed! (Think big guy on a little white pony! Seriously guys take notes!) For a guy who’s into a different type of horsepower, this is one of the sweetest proposal stories I’ve ever heard!

I flew to Dallas recently to take their engagement photos and we hit the jackpot with all these great locations! After spending the day with the two of them I can totally understand why Danielle fell for Joe. They are the perfect pair and both so kind, compassionate, and supportive of each other. Joe loves his cars as much as Danielle loves her horses and I’m so glad I was able to showcase both for them!

I am super excited to be able to celebrate them and capture their big day in my hometown in Ohio next summer! Get ready for a long post with so many of my favorites from their engagement session anddd a lot of horsepower! 🙂
