I love it when I meet a couple and know instantly that we click – and that’s how I felt when I first met Allie and Austin! I happened to be home in Toledo over the summer when I met the two of them. Allie works with my sister, Katie, as a teacher in Perrysburg so I knew we would have a lot in common! Austin even proposed to Allie while Danke Shoën (the song from Ferris Bueller) was playing. So really, who wouldn’t love the guy!? 😉
When we decided on the location for their engagement photos I was SO excited! I’m a University of Toledo grad and, being an art teacher, I took almost ALL of my courses at the Center For Visual Arts at the Toledo Museum of Art. I have ‘t been back there in years so it was a fun creative challenge for me to pick my favorite little nooks and crannies for their portraits! (Although they are both BGSU grads… I think they will forgive me for that!)
We picked the perfect time in fall to catch those gorgeous fall colors too! Allie and Austin put their total trust in me when we started to get some heavy cloud coverage at the end of the session. They followed me into a random parking lot to capture the last few fall portraits before the sun set!
I am so excited for these two to start their journey together! And I had SO many favorites here’s photo overload of their session 🙂
These two will be getting married in Toledo, Ohio at the Registry Bistro in June 2022 and I CAN’T WAIT to be there to capture their big day!!! Anddd I’m gonna say it – I’ll be excited to get out of the scorching heat of Arizona during the summer! Lol!
Let’s make that magic happen! I travel often from coast to coast and I’d love to capture your love story wherever it lands you! I love those destination spots too! 😉 Fill out my contact form to book your special day!
