The best part of Libby and Jake’s desert engagement photos were how much they were constantly making each other laugh! It made my job SO easy! Genuine laughter gets the BEST smiles and I had such a hard time narrowing down images for their blog post 🙂 They just radiate joy!

Libby and Jake are from Colorado but came down to Arizona for Thanksgiving to visit family. When they said they wanted to book their engagement photos and wanted to show off the desert, I knew the perfect place! We started at Rancho Manana for that old world rustic look and headed into Cave Creek Regional Park right before sunset! And honestly, I can’t decide which location I love more!

My favorite part is that Jake was so excited to propose to Libby, he woke her up at 3:30 am to pop the question before their early flight to Arizona!

How sweet is that!? While we were shooting all over Cave Creek, they told me all about the house they are building and how they’re so excited to move in to their first home together in March! Complete with their two pooches Wilbur and Fox. Libby and Jake, I wish you all the best! Here’s to many happy years ahead!
