Who’s having a Valentine’s Day party? Or should I say….Galentine’s Day party!? 

We, of course, have Parks and Recreation to thank for introducing us to this unique fictional tradition that happens every year on February 13th! It’s a day that you and your best gal pals get together and celebrate your friendship over chocolates and champagne!

I have always wanted to do a unique shoot with pups so with Galentine’s Day approaching I decided this was the perfect way to blend the two ideas together!

So, with some friends and their best doodle pups, we put together this fun shoot… 

Galentine’s Day + Golden Doodles. It was a pretty cool “Paw-ty”!

It was full of puppy kisses, friendship, laughter, and, of course, we did a little champagne poppin’! You’d think trying to capture four Doodles would be a task, but these sweet babies made my job a breeze! We had lots of kiss and treat breaks! 

Their momma’s were able to get one-on-one pictures with their fur babies and then spent the remainder of the day as a playdate among their pups while they toasted their glasses to another year of friendship!

If that isn’t the definition of the “paw-fect” way to spend Galentine’s Day, I don’t know what is!
