Baylor Bears and the Brazos River – this session was a special one! Ashley and Donovan are just the sweetest and most caring couple. So when they asked if I’d be willing to travel to Waco to take their Texas engagement photos, of course I said yes! And since Baylor University is at the heart of their love story, we had to start their session there! Their dog, Stella, even made an appearance and was sporting her Baylor gear!

Baylor has a BEAUTIFUL campus! But my favorite part was when Ashely & Donovan gave me a tour of their love story. They showed me all their special places on campus – including where they met at their dorm at Russel Hall. And wait until you hear about the sweetheart green and gold bench swings all over campus!

The Baylor myth is if you sit on any of these swings with someone, you’ll end up married to them one day! Talk about a happily ever after!

The Brazos River runs right through Waco and Cameron Park and was the perfect setting for Ashley & Donovan’s Texas engagement photos! It was photographer heaven with all the trees, rolling hills, and fields of flowers! Especially after living in the desert for the last five years. Cameron Park is so big that we were able to find several gorgeous locations, including right along the river!

As the sun was setting, a huge flock of white egrets settled on the trees and made for a magical background!

Ashley and Donovan, I am so honored that I was able to capture this special season in your lives! And in a place that’s so special to you! I absolutely cannot WAIT to be a part of your big day next summer and I’m counting down the days until I’m back in Texas with you two!
