They met in Disney and started officially dating in front of the castle! Now if that isn’t the most romantic way to start a relationship I don’t know what is! Sydney and Christian are planning on getting married in the fall at their destination wedding with beachy, fall, and boho vibes – so Maumee Bay State Park beach was the perfect location for their engagement photos!

Sydney and Christian are both super talented cheerleaders and coaches and actually met in Disney at a cheer competition. They both coach for UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association) and Christian is the head coach at BGSU. Sydney coaches at Perrysburg High School where she also teaches social studies (with my sister Katie!). Their jobs at UCA have taken them all over the US and they’ve lived in three cities and two different states together. They are also huge Alabama fans and have the sweetest little special needs dachshund, Nova.

Despite the wind, Maumee Bay State Park beach was glowing with beautiful light and made for gorgeous portraits!

These two were SUCH an easy couple to work with too! They are just so dang cute together I barely had to pose them. Made my job SO easy! And OMG can Sydney pull off that boho look or what!? I can just imagine all the fun details they will have at their wedding! And after a year of Covid, they told me they are super excited to just celebrate with all of their family and friends!
