Snowy Winter Engagement Session | Carolyn & Fredrik

I still can’t believe we captured these photos! SNOW! In the DESERT! This session has been one of my favorite to date and oh so DREAMY! Watching the snow fall and and several inches build up on top of the cacti was absolutely magical! And Fredrik and Carolyn braved the cold and snow and ended up with the most stunning portraits! (And I loved the flowers Carolyn brought!)

It was a bit of a rush to make it out of the rain and into the snow! As we were driving further north, cars were pulled over and people were sledding on golf courses and building snowmen on top of their cars! The road to Bartlett Lake where we were headed was actually closed off and the sides of the roads were packed with carloads of desert dwellers taking selfies in the snow and shoveling it into the beds of their trucks! I’ve never seen anything like it!

We ended up pulling into the front entrance of a neighborhood to take these which ended up being the PERFECT spot! Carolyn and Fredrik are just the sweetest couple! They actually met in Sweden where Carolyn was working as an au pair. They both love to travel and even back-packed all over Europe for two weeks! They just moved to Zurich together and South Africa and Asia are on their list to travel to next. I’m only slightly jealous… 🙂

These pictures were perfect timing since they had just eloped in Phoenix a few days before! Congratulations you two! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and safe travels!
